Note to
dog owners
Please let us know at the time of booking if you are coming with your pet. Only one dog is allowed in each chalet. We have 3 chalets specifically for people who wish to bring their dogs. A special cushion for your pet is provided in each chalet and we can also offer information on walks and excursions.
Dogs are welcome not only in the chalets but also on our campsite, and are greeted with the same warmth as their human companions.
It is very important to us to enjoy good relations with our neighbours! To maintain these good relations, we ask you to please always collect your dog's faeces, because these can cause diseases even if covered by snow and expose cows to a parasitic infection that may result in early abortions. We ask that you help keep the green areas clean, live peacefully with the other people around you, and keep a clear conscience. The Doggystation is just a short walk away. We also inform you that on our campsite, as is customary, it is obligatory to keep dogs on a leash.
FAQ's
Are dogs allowed and how much do they cost?
Dogs are very welcome and cost €7 per day at the campsite. Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the site. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the tent area or inside the restaurants.
For dog owners, we have created three specially equipped chalets and provide a cosy dog cushion during your stay.
Please let us know when booking that you will be travelling with a dog. A maximum of one dog is permitted per chalet.
What services are available for dogs?
There is a dedicated dog shower in the campsite’s sanitary building and a dog station on site. Dog-sitting is available on request.
What walks can I take with my dog?
Starting directly from the campsite, the walk around the lake takes around 40 minutes. The walk to the centre of Dobbiaco takes about 60 minutes. The former railway line from Dobbiaco to Cortina stretches for around 30 km and is ideal for longer outings.
Are dogs allowed in the chalets?
Yes. Dogs are welcome on request in three designated Skyview Chalets (max. 1 dog per chalet, €20/day). Please let us know when booking.
